What is SWEF and who should apply?
We are a private fund that makes grants to young people who are working on their own business initiative.
You need to be between 18-30 years old and have started the business within the last two years.
Is my business eligible for a grant? How much money can I apply for?
Your business focus needs to be realistic and viable, and it needs to benefit the local community in some way.
You can apply for a business grant of up to £2,000.
How do I apply?
Before making an application we recommend that you contact us to have an informal chat about your idea and the support that we can provide.
This will give you an opportunity to:
- Tell us a little more about your idea
- Ask any questions you may have
- Gather some useful tips for completing the application
How will I know if my application has been successful?
We will let you know when your application has been received and we will be in touch as soon as a decision about your application has been made.
